More fun in the snow

Here's some pics of Luke and dad having fun at Red Mountain, our home away from home... On this day, not only did Luke get to go skiing, but he also got to explore the snow cave the staff built for Avalanche Awareness Day. After skiing, Luke likes to visit with his girlfriends at the lodge...

Le Roi gold mine

The ski hill here at Rossland, Red Mountain, used to be a very profitable gold mine. It was mined for about 40 years in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Basically, the mountain is practically hollow at this point!

We went on a tour of the mine with our fantastic tour guide, Andy.

Of course Luke was in awe, as we all were.

Our home away from home

Well, it's almost time to return home to Maui, Hawaii. We have had an awesome time up here in Rossland, BC. We've had snow, powder days, and clear blue skies a bit. Here are a few pics of our home away from home.

Erik & Angela :: favorite wedding of 2008

With 2008 in the past now, I was looking over my weddings of the past year, and decided to post some pictures from my favorite wedding of the 2008, Erik and Angela -- a local Maui couple.

Not only was Angela absolutely gorgeous, this couple was all about love conquering all! Not only was there an immense love between Erik and Angela, everyone present at their wedding celebration shared this love. They definitely made my job of capturing their love very easy.

Happy New Year everyone!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday season and are bringing in the new year with lots of joy and love.

My family and I are enjoying our annual ski vacation up in beautiful, and very white, British Columbia. My son, Luke, had his first white Christmas and was happy that santa was able to find him up here, so far from his usual home of Maui.

We'll be returning back to Maui in a few weeks and I'll be back photographing weddings and families by the end of January.
